employee’s daughter. The tomboy. The kid who once did odd jobs around the
brewery. That’s all she was… until three years passed and she walked into my
office for an interview.
Dawson is no longer that girl I once called Kiddo. She’s grown into a
beautiful, sexy, desirable woman. Very desirable. And that’s a problem. She’s
my employee’s daughter. Lovibond family. And too young for me. Too innocent.

supposed to be a hot summer fling. Sex and fun without commitment—that’s what
we called it. But we were wrong. This is more. I’ve never felt this way about a
woman. Never cared more about someone else’s happiness more than my own.

million reasons for her to leave me. And trust me, she should. But all I really
need is one good reason for her to stay.
I did not realize that this was actually the third book in this series, but when I read the blurb for it, I thought it sounded great. Georgia Cates is a new author to me, and I’m happy to say she’s going right on my one-click list! I loved this book. Being a resident of Boston, we have lots of breweries, and I toured quite a few of them back in the day. (ok, it wasn’t that long ago!)
Porter Beckman needs an intern in the graphic design and marketing department. He winds up with Frankee, a stunning woman who 3 years prior was a tomboy who used to follow him around. Her father works there as well. Porter is impressed at her amazing work, but he also begins a relationship with her that’s supposed to be just fun and sex since she’s leaving to live with her friends at the end of the summer. Lots of fun stuff here! Both of them, especially Frankee are 80’s and 90’s music lovers. Watching the relationship between them required the use of my air conditioner! Porter was a man of many talents, and what I loved about him was that he wasn’t afraid to express how he felt to Frankee.
Of course, there has always got to be a wrench thrown into the mix, and this one is totally crazy! As in, bring out the straight jacket! And I just loved Porter’s mom Kat! I loved this book so much I bought the first two books in the series too!
