Kiss Me O’Malley is the much requested prequel to the beloved O’Malley series by talented author Stevie MacFarlane. While it is technically the sixth book in the racy series, it tells the story of the patriarch and matriarch of the O’Malley clan, Sean O’Malley and the love of his life from childhood, Maeve Murphy.
Set in the 1970’s in Ireland, we see how headstrong, feisty Maeve first meets Sean when he’s an altar boy in church. But Sean is no saint, and neither is Maeve. Despite her attempts at trying to lure him in, he doesn’t bite. He does however, threaten to take her over his knee when he sees her skirt too high. It’s not until after a harrowing rescue that Sean lets Maeve, and her parents know that she’s his. And that things in their household will be his way, or Maeve won’t be sitting comfortably.
As much as I’m not a huge fan of domestic discipline romances, I absolutely loved Ms MacFarlane’s book! Filled with laughter, love, and a sweet, sexy romance, this book has something special that turned me into an instant fan! I’ll definitely be reading more about the O’Malley clan!
