Heroes for Hire Book 12

Release Date Dec. 05, 2017

Welcome to Jace’s Jewel, book 12 in Heroes for Hire, reconnecting readers with the unforgettable men from SEALs of Honor in a new series of action-packed, page turning romantic suspense that fans have come to expect from USA TODAY Bestselling author Dale Mayer.

When several members of a search and rescue team die in an accident, followed by several more team members who are murdered, Jace is ordered to sort it out.

Working for a large insurance company had always been great for Emily, until she is handed several files all from the same family. Men she knew… intimately. Afraid there is too much going on in the background she contacts Legendary Securities for help.

As the investigation develops, more bodies turn up, along with jealousy, greed and insurance payouts that just maybe shouldn’t have been paid.

She pairs up with the sexy Jace as they delve into the twisted and personal cases and race to stop another murder from taking place right in front of them…

Jace’s Jewel is the 12th book in the Heroes for Hire series, and once again, Dale Mayer has written a page turner with romance, suspense, and mystery. This series just keeps getting better and better for me, and I’ve become a huge fan of Ms. Mayers.

Jace is the last single guy at the compound, and he’s taking some ribbing from the guys for it. However, it’s not long before a case comes walking in on two long legs. 4 members of a Texas Search and Rescue team have died, and it turns out they are all related. Emily Leacock is an insurance agent sent to investigate. She also happens to have ties to 3 of the men, and as it turns out, they all have million dollar insurance policies.

Jace is sent to Texas with Logan to find out what is going on. He’s also interested in Emily, but as the insurance agent, it’s a conflict of interest. As the case gets more complicated, so do their feelings. And Emily just may be in the center of it, or is she?

While this one had a bit of a slower beginning for me, it got involved rather fast, and both Emily and Jace grew on me.

My Path

As I walk forward on my path to the future,

I choose laughter, love, and light as my sutures,

stitching together my lifetime of choices,

as the essential fabric of my being rejoices

in the love, friendships, and faith that follow

the steps I take as I flow into my tomorrow.

Just a subbie, and an author who loves books, especially the kinky ones. I've been reading since I could hold a book and I have a voracious appetite for them. I have that dreaded disease, oneclickitis. I probably have at least 5500 books just on my Kindle alone.I am also a writer and I'm currently writing my first book, which is the first in a planned series.
