This amazing collection of BJ Wane’s Virginia Bluebloods series made for a fun re-read of one of my absolute favorite series. It reminded me why I love BJ’s work so very much!
|Blindsided is the first book in the Virginia Bluebloods series by the very talented writer BJ Wane. The Virginia Bluebloods are 4 hot, rich, good ole southern boys, who are best friends. They all buck tradition and certainly anything expected of them by their parental units. Nate, Wes, Dec and Finn. Blindsided is about Nate.
Nate is a playboy who doesn’t do relationships, and once a year, a friend of his, Camille, sets him up with a woman for a night of no-holds barred sex. He’s trying to bury the demons of the death of his drug addicted sister. But this year, his partner wants things a little different.
Eve was blinded in a car accident that killed her high school sweetheart 12 years ago. Every year, Camille finds her a man so she can have some anonymous sex and drive the demons away. This year, it’s with Nate, who gives her more pleasure then she’s ever had.
A few weeks later, he runs into her at a friends rock climbing facility, and is amazed to learn she is blind. He starts to relentlessly pursue her until she finally agrees to go out with him, for a sex only affair. But Eve’s friend Holly has her doubts, and she’s quite vocal. about it, even obsessive. I’d tell you more but…You need to read it to get how incredible it really is.
I loved this first novel of the Virginia Bluebloods. BJ Wane is a remarkable storyteller, though there were a couple of instances with past and present tense, but that’s not a big deal in the overall scheme of things.
Bind Me to You-
|I’m sitting here fanning myself, seriously I am. I just finished reading Bind Me To You, the second book in the Virginia Bluebloods series, and I thought that the first book was hot. But this book, oh yeah, so much hotter. This book is all about Dec, the lawyer we met in book one and Camille, the woman who set Nate and Eve up. She runs a ‘legitimate’ escort service.
She has a sister, Bethany, who has a blind son, Joshua who goes to Eve’s school to learn piano from her. His father walked out when he was born, not wanting to deal with a handicapped son. But now, he wants full custody all of a sudden. Camille happens to know that he goes to the Warehouse, a sex club. If she can get incriminating pictures of him, then they can get him to drop the custody suit.
Camille loves her sister, and though she hides a dark, painful past, she decides to go ahead with going to the Warehouse. She didn’t count on finding Dec there. Dec knows there is something up with her, but he decides to take her on, then he’ll find out what she’s hiding.
There are some of the steamiest D/s sex scenes I’ve ever read in this book, and Dec is one amazingly hot Dom. The more they play, the more he gets attached, but so frustrated at her lack of commitment. You have to get this book to find out happens, you most definitely won’t be sorry.
Surrender To Me
The Virginia Bluebloods series is quickly ranking right up there with my favorites, that being said, book three deals with my favorite of the bluebloods, Finley O’Dell. The hot Irish Dom who owns the airstrip and O’Dells restaurant. He’s also participated in a couple of hot menagès in book one and two.
Enter Shea Murphy. A sub who lost her Master and husband 18 months prior. She’s been moving around and has finally settled down for a bit in Fin’s neck of the woods. She decides to go to a BDSM club for the first time and the Warehouse is her choice. Fin is the Dom taking care of the newbies for the night, and the tour with her certainly doesn’t go as planned as she runs off. Shea is suffering from severe OCD and usually had her Master to help deal with it, usually by punishment.
When Fin returns from a trip a week later, he finds her in his kitchen suffering from a severe OCD attack, knowing what will help, he spanks her. They fall into a routine, but Shea’s trust is hard-earned, and she doesn’t realize that her old Master/husband was abusive. Will Fin get through to her? Or will she run once again? And who’s the lucky menagè partner? Buy Surrender to Me and find out.
|Review||Blackmailed by the awesomely talented BJ Wane, is the fourth book in the Virginia Bluebloods series. This time, we visit funpark owner, Wes Montgomery. If you weren’t aware, or may have forgotten, Wes had a huge falling out with his last girlfriend/submissive. He’s been mum on the subject with both family and friends.
Charlotte is a rich woman who’s being sold into marriage by her cousin, all over a merger. He hangs her charity over her head. She decides to go to a bar, looking to forget her troubles. Wes is there, but he doesn’t pay attention to her, and she doesn’t hit on him. She ends up in another bar she should’nt. Despite himself, Wes sees her go in and decides to check on her, she’s having a “Situation.”
They end up together, but Wes ends up coldly walking away from her. As fate would have it, he runs into her again, but he gets the wrong idea and decides to blackmail her into a relationship with him. A limited time, D/s relationship. Charlie once again ends up in the wrong place/wrong time. A huge misunderstanding just as she’s settling in could cost her everything.
I swear, this series, and BJ’s writing, just keeps getting better and better! I really wish it could go on for a long, long time. A sequel perhaps? A spin-off? That club must have a bunch of available Doms to write about? (I’ll take 2 thanks!)
I realize, I’m totally fan-girling here, but other than the fact I wanted to smack Wes upside the head with a 4×4, I just totally loved this book! It may be time for a new category on my Kindle. “Books I intend to read over, and over ad-infinitum
Bound By Two
Can I give more than 5 Stars? BJ Wane has added another amazing book to the Virginia Bluebloods series. I most certainly hope it keeps going, if not, she could always write The Boston Patriots or something. ((Grins)). This was released as a Christmas novella, so my only complaint was that it could have been longer.
Danielle has been on the run for the past month from her husband and his doctor friend. She overheard them plotting against her, and she ran, only to end up in the parking lot of The Warehouse. Masters Dale and Eli find her, and when they knock on her car door, she attempts to leave. But when her car won’t start, they take her into the Warehouse with them. Before she takes off with a tow truck, they realize she has an interest in BDSM.
Before long, Dani becomes a sub to both men, and she starts to fall for them, but it doesn’t take long for her past to catch up with her. Dale and Eli walk in on a huge misunderstanding, and it’s one that could cause them to lose Dani forever.
As I said, this was such a wonderful book, and BJ really hit the mark with this one. The whole series has been nothing short of stupendous, and for any reader/reviewer that doesn’t like BDSM or the lifestyle in general? BJ has put disclaimers in every book’s description. I found the book to be a 10 Star read! You go BJ!
