They’re baaack! The devilishly hot duo of Saphiel and Kami are back in the third installment of the Avarice series in Avarice Unleashed. (Though there is a girl on a leash, fair warning. s well as kinky sex, demonology, and some pretty twisted religious themes.) In other words, it’s a completely yummy, dark and twisty tale that A.C. is a master at telling.
Things aren’t looking too hot for Saph when we join this tale, and Kami is running around, trying to not only stay safe, but figure out what the seal has to do with Saph’s disappearance. She calls for help, but help isn’t exactly what she gets. A human family has got their clutches on Saph. Will Kami see him again? You’ll need to grab a copy to find out!

It was a permanent note-to-self tattooed right above Kameo Kross’s panties, because anything less was a disappointment. Had anyone cared to issue the warning: Be careful what you wish for, she might have thought twice before wording it like an actual invitation.
Kami doesn’t fear pain, death or eternal damnation. She fears only submitting completely. A matter she usually has well in hand… until an unexpected detour into kink and a relentless bastard of a new boss decide to put all of her resistance–and chosen ink–to the trickiest of tests.
Warning: This a work of Dark Erotic fiction with possible triggers. If you are faint of heart, easily squeamish or sensitive to religious/world views and violence, please do not read this book.
Cliffhanger Warning: This is the First of Three books and ends in an abrupt cliffhanger.
That’s Kami’s first instinct when shit gets a little too real for her peace of mind.
Kink was supposed to be an escape, a release, but her mysterious Dom robbed her of that and there’s no going back. Her job was supposed to be an accomplishment, a step forward, but Mr. Kress took that from her and twisted it to his own design.
They want her to submit.
If Kami had her way, they’d both be kissing her ass on her way out the door.
Now, there’s a new threat hanging over her head. An unknown enemy wants to expose all of Kami’s sordid, depraved secrets to the media. Little do they know, that even she has no clue who in the hell she really is…but someone does.
Someone who’s about to reveal an incomprehensible tale. A truth that will unravel Kami’s entire life at the seams. Everything she’s ever believed will be altered as she’s thrust into a world she’d never feared existed, and only one undeniable fact will ring through the loudest:
Running had never been an option.
Trigger/Content Warning: This book contains unorthodox religious views, graphic anal sex, explicit language, dark eroticism, BDSM, violence and references to demonology, paganism and the occult. Intended for mature 18+ audiences only!
A.C. Melody is a quirky, unconventional and often contrary (mostly to her muse) hybrid author, both traditionally and self-published. She has a soft spot for hard ass alphas and the strong women who capture their hearts. Her favorite part of writing, is having the ability to explore her favorite subjects from unique angles. Also, she loves putting her characters through the ringer one way or another, to expose all of the various facets that make them tick. She’s guilty of putting all her money on the underdogs, the anti-heroes and the shameless whores.
Outside of writing, A.C. is a confessed javaholic who loves reading, music, gaming, American Football, ancient civilizations, foreign cultures and everything supernatural. She has an insatiable curiosity that tends to earn her more hobbies than time. You can find her in the beautifully green Pacific Northwest with her two teenage sons and two blue-eyed, Himalayan-Siamese mixes who think they own the joint.
ON THE RUN FOR HER LIFE
Small-town girl Evie Avery’s dream vacation has become her worst nightmare. Now she’s on the run in a foreign country, and has no idea why.
NO ROOM FOR ERROR
Navy SEAL, Aiden O’Malley, had his reasons for turning his back on Evie all those months ago, but he hasn’t been able to get her out of his mind. She changed him, for better or worse. When he finds out she’s missing, long-pent-up feelings come roaring to life, and he will stop at nothing to bring her home.
A LOVE WORTH FIGHTING FOR
Evie finds herself face-to-face with a man she vowed to forget. The flame she thought had burned out months ago suddenly ignites. Storming back to Tennessee, she is mad as hell when he follows her. Worse, she finds that the terror she’d experienced abroad, is still stalking her. Aiden hounds Evie’s every step as he tries to keep her alive, but she doesn’t care, it’s not his protection she wants. If she can’t have his heart, she wants him gone. As the enemy closes in, Aiden wonders if there enough of his battered soul to give to a woman who deserves the world.
Her Relentless SEAL is the 10th book in the Midnight Delta series by Caitlyn O’leary, and I for one have no problem if it keeps right on going. It’s a great series, and one of my favorites! Honestly, who wouldn’t want one of those Midnight Delta boys?
Our MD man up in rotation this time around is sexy Aiden O’Malley. Aiden had let Evie go for what he thought was her own good, but when she’s taken hostage in Turkey, he goes after her and makes sure that she knows he’s back for the long haul. Which is a good thing, because her stalker hasn’t forgotten about her.
This book was a continuation of the pure brilliance of this series. It was a page turner that sucked me in from page one all the way until the very end. The characters had great chemistry, and it was a joy watching Aiden and Evie get back together.

Mikhail “Wolf” Rossov and Gareth “Gunner” Gruffyd are part of a joint Navy SEAL and Army Ranger team that have been tasked with a new war. One that needs to be kept from being discovered, at all costs.Out on the job, they end up saving a woman who turns out to be more than they could have believed.
Camilla Berry is a kindergarten teacher. The most dangerous part of her job is a wide spread flu epidemic in her class. Being a teacher is all she’s ever wanted. She never thought she’d soon be part of something bigger.
Kidnapped to become a pawn in a dangerous, violent game, Camilla has only one hope—for her two men to come to her rescue, before it’s too late. She knows that they would walk through the fires of hell for her. But will they make it in time?
Be Warned: menage sex (MFM), anal sex, double penetration, spanking
First off, whenever I see a book come out by April Zyon, I get that excited squee thing going, but a new series? Well pick me up off the floor. (Seriously, can someone find me two, strong, alpha males to pick me up off of the floor?) Ok, I digress. A NEW SERIES! I’m just all atwitter.
So, First Contact is about a 12 man team of uber hot soldiers that have been hand-picked by the God Ares, (that’s the God of war in case you didn’t know) to form a special team to help defend against evil and keep Hades where he belongs. Hades also needs the powers of at least 4 of 6 women who are descendants of the Gods. This is where our souped up guys come in. As you can see from the number of female to male ratio, there are 2 males to one female. So the men will pair off with their perfect soul mate of a woman.
There are lots more to all of this, and it’s all a very cool concept and plot. Our first two mates are Mikhail and Gareth. Mikhail is known as Wolf, and is the sniper and defacto leader. He’s also the dark half of the equation. Gareth, is the light. Both tall, built and hot. They are also both pierced. (Yup, on the floor again.) It’s a thing with all of them, you’ll see.
Their rescue and person to protect is a kindergarten teacher named Sandie heh heh, no Camilla. I have to say there were times I wasn’t quite sure how to take Camilla. She was veeery talkative, a mite bossy, and there were times I was wondering when the gag was coming out. But she was certainly lovable, and she was the soul mate of our two heroes.
I fell in love with this book and I am excited to read the rest of the series to see what happens. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this!
5 Heavenly Stars
It felt good to be back on American soil. While Mikhail thought of himself as more Russian than American, America had been his home for all his life and always would be.
Mikhail stepped out of the steamy bathroom and finished toweling off as he padded into the locker room. Nodding to his teammates who were scattered around in various states of undress, he grabbed up a pair of jeans and pulled them on.
Three weeks since their mission to extract the CIA operative from Greece without anyone, official or not, the wiser. While it hadn’t been smooth, they’d gotten in and out without alerting anyone they’d ever been there. Bad guys notwithstanding, of course.
He buttoned up his fly and crammed his feet into a pair of boots. Mikhail pulled on his shirt before dropping to sit on the bench to do up his boots.
They’d been in endless meetings and sessions to debrief since they’d gotten out of Greece with the operative. All they knew about her was her code name for the op, Sugar. Not exactly fitting given the venom she’d directed their way the entire flight out of the country and then back to the States. But then again, she hadn’t looked all that happy before they’d met her.
What her mission had been in the country, Mikhail couldn’t say. But since they were currently on friendly terms with Greece, who the fuck knew. Especially when it came to the spooks. Those guys just loved to root around in the darkest of corners looking for enemies and, if they couldn’t find any, making new ones.
He stomped his feet a little to settle the boots in place. Just as he grabbed his leather jacket, the door into the locker room crashed open and four MPs came in.
“Sorry, sirs. The admiral has requested your presence immediately.”
Mikhail knew it wasn’t an actual “request.” No one, an admiral especially, needed four heavily armed MPs to pass on a “request.” No, it was an order, and he bet if it weren’t obeyed the MPs had very specific and detailed instructions about what to do.
He shrugged on his jacket and leaned against his locker as his cohorts finished dressing. None of them were in any apparent rush. While the MPs had said immediately, and he knew the admiral had meant yesterday, they weren’t going to just give in. That wasn’t how they were made. His fellow team members gravitated into their duos, as usual. He wasn’t surprised when Gareth shot him a small, crooked grin. The men weren’t couples, but they all worked together very well and—at least where he and Gareth were concerned—shared women more often than not.
Rubbing a hand over his mouth, he hid his smirk as James “Fury” Ashton asked Owen “Viper” Lueger which shirt went with his eyes better. Always pushing the envelope, that one. When Mikhail caught the look on the MPs faces and the way they were fiddling with their sidearms, he cleared his throat. He gave his team a couple of signals out of sight of the MPs.
It got everyone moving faster. If a bunch of highly trained military cops were that twitchy, something big was going down. No need to provoke them more than absolutely necessary.
As they left the locker room as a unit, Mikhail noticed they all exchanged the same look. He knew no one had a clue what was going on and that they didn’t like it—especially since they’d all just been told they had three weeks’ leave. Which, in their minds, meant they got to leave, no questions asked.
Twenty minutes later, Mikhail could not believe how fucking right he’d been. “Excuse me, sir. I mean zero disrespect, sir, but are you off your fucking rocker?” he asked.
His teammates all nodded. Yeah, every single one of them had been thinking it. Mikhail was just craziest of the bunch to say it out loud. It was part of his rep, and he did love living up to his rep.
“I wish,” Admiral Weller said. He rubbed a hand over his military-regulation cut and looked at them all.
Mikhail couldn’t believe how old Admiral Weller looked right then. Sharing a worried look with Nolan, he shook his head. “Sir, this is crazy. I might buy that Nolan might believe in the Greek gods, growing up as he had, but coming from you…” He shook his head again. “I’m sorry, sir, but I’m not buying it.”
“You’d better,” a new voice said. One that was deep, bowels-of-hell deep, and sent a shiver down Mikhail’s spine.
Mikhail spun and looked up—yeah, up—at seven-and-a-half feet of solid muscle covered in leather. Holy shit, where the fuck did this guy come from?
“Olympus by way of Athens,” the large male said. He turned his blacker-than-night eyes to the admiral. “Andrew, sorry I’m late. Had a small family matter to attend to.”
“No apologies needed, come on in and grab a seat. I think I’ll let you tell them the rest of this, as they don’t seem to be taking me seriously.”
The large man chuckled and—no joke—Mikhail could have sworn the room actually pitched and rolled like the deck of a battleship on high seas.
“They are trained to believe what they can see, hear, and touch, Andrew. Of course, they are not going to just take you at your word.” He walked around them, surprisingly light on his feet, and took the seat the admiral had offered.
Mikhail saw the same what-the-fuck expression on Nolan’s face that had to be on his own. The guy, on a first-name basis with the admiral, seemed to be buying into the same delusion, too. This would be interesting to hear. He wondered why no one was questioning the unvoiced questions, but these men knew him well enough to know that he would fill them all in later on everything.
“It’s not a delusion, Mikhail,” the guy said. “The Greek gods are real, all of us.”
“So, we’re to believe you’re one?” Lincoln “Saber” Jamison asked.
“Right,” Thomas “Brick” Gordon drawled out in his Southern manner. “Which one, just so we keep it all straight and shit?”
The admiral’s expression showed his discomfort. Not a look one expected of a career military man who’d been through more wars than most could lay claim to—and all on the front lines for the most part.
“Ares,” the male said.
“God of War,” Stefan “Orion” Patras said softly. “Son of Zeus and Hera.”
“Bingo,” the big male said. “Got it in one. Which, considering your heritage, I’d be truly miffed if you hadn’t.”
Shooting his Greek teammate a look, Mikhail shook his head. “Okay, I have a question, if we’re all going to play along with this delusion.”
“It’s no delusion and yes, the gods are real.” Ares, or whoever the fuck he was, got up from his chair. He pushed it out of the way and settled with his feet spread so they were right under his shoulders.
A flash of light and they were staring at the guy in full battle regalia. As in, ancient armor with one hell of a big-ass sword in hand, tip to the floor. Oddly enough, the guy seemed even bigger.
He walked straight toward Mikhail.
Standing his ground, Mikhail notched his chin up to keep eye contact with the guy. A lot harder than he’d thought, now that the guy’s eyes were silver pools, much like a whirlpool, trying to suck him in.
“Military men are always the hardest to convince,” the god said. Then he smiled, showing perfectly white teeth, and lifted a hand. “Let’s see if I can’t convince you, shall we?”
Captain John Franzen.
Inside the lines…
It’s the definition of life for Tracy Rhodes, and she has no choice about that. Lines–lots of them–are what happens when one is sworn in as second-in-command of the free world.
But the lines are crushed beneath the boots of Captain John Franzen, assigned as a special advisor to her security team for a high-profile event in Vegas. The towering warrior with the haunted stare shatters her composure, invades her libido, and makes her yearn for things she shouldn’t. Sweaty, illicit things…with her body pinned beneath his…
Outside the boundaries…
John Franzen, six and a half feet of rigid composure on the outside, is a lost man on the inside. Why the hell is he even alive? A guy isn’t supposed to survive eleven years in Special Forces, especially after the crazy missions he’s been assigned. Accepting the security gig in Vegas is just a favor to a friend–a way to fill time that’s become too damn empty lately.
Until the cushy “babysitting job” becomes the most treacherous mission of his life–and the politician he’s protecting becomes the woman in his bed. The lover beneath his bonds…
The submissive he longs to claim forever.
Breaking all the rules…
She’s destined for marble halls and an oval office.
He’s wired for dirt and violence.
Will her passion be enough to tame his demons…to claim the ultimate wild boy as her own?
Pass the kleenex, the hankie, the hubbie’s shirt, what ever you need to cry over the fact that this is the last in Angel Payne’s WILD Boys series. But this one ends with a bang, both figuratively and literally! We finally get Keoni John Franzen’s story, or Franzen as he was more well-known as. The half Samoan Captain, the Commanding Officer of the WILD boys has his day! He also goes big when he gets his woman.
John has been cooling his heels since being let go from his job, so when Shay Bommer calls with a security job, he jumps on it. He figures babysitting the Vice President, Tracy Rhodes will be a piece of cake. How wrong he is.
Tracy is the VP of the United States, she’s also a widow, and a mom to a 15-year-old named Luke. She’s also wildly attracted to her bodyguard, who they call the ‘Dragon’. When the impossible happens, she has to go into hiding with him, and the attraction deepens. Can John keep her safe and make her his ‘kitten’?
Angel does an incredible job weaving together a story full of intrigue, suspense, humor, and some of the most smoking hot BDSM scenes I’ve ever read. She does an honestly great job with the BDSM scenes, proving she knows her craft. (Though I will admit, pet play has always squicked me out a bit, but c’est la vie} I have to say, I’m extremely saddened to see this series come to an end. It was one of my very favorites, and it is like having to say good-bye to a family. Truly, a fantastic read!
5 Super Sexy Kink-arific Stars
USA Today bestselling romance author Angel Payne has been reading and writing her entire life, though her love for romances began in junior high, when writing with friends on “swap stories” they’d trade between classes. Needless to say, those stories involved lots of angst, groping, drama, and gooey kissing.
She began getting a paycheck for her writing in her twenties, writing record reviews for a Beverly Hills-based dance music magazine. Some years, various entertainment industry gigs, and a number of years in the hospitality industry later, Angel returned to the thing she loves the most: creating character-based romantic fiction. Along the way, she also graduated with two degrees from Chapman University in Southern California, taking departmental honors for English, before writing five historical romances for Kensington and Bantam/Doubleday/Dell.
Angel found a true home in writing contemporary-based romances that feature high heat and high concepts, focusing on memorable alpha men and the women who tame them. She has numerous book series to her credit, including the Kinky Truth series, the Secrets of Stone series (with Victoria Blue), the W.I.L.D. Boys of Special Forces series, and the acclaimed Cimarron series. Temptation Court, a new series being launched through the Dark Nights Discovery project, debuts in 2016.
Angel still lives in Southern California, where she is married to her soul mate and lives on a street that looks like Brigadoon, with their awesome daughter and Lady Claire, the dog with impeccable manners. When not writing, she enjoys reading, pop culture, alt rock, cute shoes, enjoying the outdoors, and being a gym rat.

I waited ten years for the right guy, then four come along at once.
I wasn’t even looking for my Mr Right. I thought I’d found him and he was just waiting for that perfect moment to pop the question. When the time came it was far from perfect The event left me a humiliated, broken-hearted mess.
Still, a person would have to be batshit crazy to do what I’ve done, or I’m about to do.
I’m Orange County bound with all my worldly possessions crammed into five suitcases and an agreement to marry one of four complete strangers.
I just don’t know which one of the four men it’s going to be.
No need to panic.
I have a whole month to make my decision. Who would do such a thing? No sane woman that’s for sure, but then with a name like Seraphim, I was never going to normal.
Hi, you can call me Finn.
You know, I wasn’t totally sure if I was going to love this book or not, but it WAS Dee Palmer, so I decided to give it a go. Boy, am I ever so glad I did. I loved this book!
Finn is coming off of a 10 year realationship with Dave. While it all started out well enough, Dave turned into a giant p*^#k. He humiliates her in front of everyone they know, so she decides a life change is in order. She answers an ad from 4 soldiers looking to share one wife, so she travels to the US from London and meets up with the four guys. Tug, Pink, Toxic, and Charge.
They all have a 30 day period to find out if their arraingement will work, but the guys are playing for keeps.
As much as a book with one woman and 4 dudes could quickly rush right on over to the “Bom Chicka Wow Wow” sleazy side of a menagé a cinquê, it doesn’t. It’s funny much of the time, and you honestly just want to beat Dave, (her ex) into a pulp. (many times!) The guys all have their own unique personalities but all of them make Finn feel loved. I’ll admit my favorite was “Charge” and not just because of his sexual predilicions. (Mmmm yummy.) All in all, just a wonderful book, and I hope there are more to come!

“Stay, Finn…please,” she mutters, her fat lip wobbling. She’s killing me.
“I can’t, Hope” I shake my head and the heaviness in my heart, the sadness I feel is a fraction of the sorrow I have endured and she knows this. “I wasted ten years of my life with a man who had no intention of marrying me H, and he even took delight in humiliating me about that fact in front of all my friends. He made me feel utterly worthless and now…” I stutter and draw in a fortifying breath, “I have these men and one of them promised to marry me. I get to choose…me, I—” I clamp my mouth shut at my apocalyptic fuck-up.
“Men?” she snaps.
“Man, I meant man.” I wave my hand to dismiss my seemingly silly mistake,
“You said men,” Hope corrects and then gasps. “Finn you didn’t answer that advert?” Her hands fly to her mouth, eyes like saucers and we both suck in a shocked breath.
“I…I…—” I can’t construct a sentence. She steps up to me and interrupts so I don’t have to. I wish she didn’t.
“That’s who you’ve been talking to so secretively these last three months every spare minute. That’s what all this gym shit you’ve been dragging me to morning, noon, and night for the last three months has been all about. It’s because you need to be fit enough to take on four guys?” She stares at me and her mouth is open so wide it’s comical, but I’m not laughing. I’m waiting for the scream, the howl of judgement to rain down on my slutty arse. I draw in a breath and brace.
“Yes.” I tip my chin and time comes to a halt…and continues to halt I frown at my friend, the statue. Her wide emerald eyes are fixed and focused, though I’m not sure on what. I wave my hand in from of her face but she doesn’t flinch. Is it possible to be catatonic standing up?
“Hope? Are you okay? You’re kind of freaking me out.” I look around to see if anyone else is observing my friend’s weird behaviour, but no one is paying us any attention. Well, other than the parking officer who is scowling between Dolly and the No Waiting sign. “Hope!” I hiss a little loud, and she blinks and gives a full body shudder, regaining her senses.
“Four guys?” she asks with a degree of aw in her tone.
I hesitate but answer.
“At one time?” She arches a brow and her lips begin to curl into a wicked smirk.
“Not necessarily. We haven’t actually gone over the logistics,” I reply, a little straight-laced given the topic, but we’re hardly in a secret-sharing environment.
“But they wanted a twenty year old?”
Her incredulous face pisses me off and I place my hands on my hips and tip my chin, my tone is a little on the defensive side.
“Well, they got a mid-to-late twenty-year-old, that has worked her arse to knock the last several years off her clock…literally.” I straighten my back and subtly tighten my tummy in lieu of drawing in an obvious slimming breath.
“Oh babe, you do. You look smoking hot don’t worry about that.” She pats my arms and flashes her best friend reassuring smile. “No. You need to worry more about the fact that you don’t have enough holes, because babe, that’s something you can’t fix at the gym.” She bites her lip to hold in her trademark filthy laugh, but I crack first and she’s quick to follow. She throws back her head, full on belly aching, dirty laughter falling from her lips, eyes streaming, shaking her head. “Oh my God, you’re going to be kept busy around the cock.” She doubles over at her own joke and waves me down because I think she has another. “They’re in the Forces right? They’re going to want everything to run like cockwork.”
“Okaaaay then, are we finished?” I pat her back as she attempts to regain her composure.
“Sorry. So sorry…too tempting, but you’re right, you have a flight to catch…the cock is ticking. No time to be dicking around now.” She snorts out another laugh.
“Hope.” I sigh.
“Look, Finn. I still think you’re batshit insane, but if you have to go crazy at least you’ll have lots of nuts to keep you company.” She pulls me in for a final hug, but I can see she’s genuinely smiling, and her face is a little wet from her tears, but her expression doesn’t hold any anxiousness or tension. There’s a little worry, but that’s understandable. Maybe I should’ve told her sooner. “I just want you to promise to do one thing for me.” She clears her throat and her tone is soft but serious.
“What’s that?” I ask and wait with bated breath for her to tell me what she’ll need from me to ease her mind, and if it’s anything within my power. She hesitates a moment before her shoulders start to shake.
“Pictures…I want lots of pictures.” She snickers some more.
“I’m gone. I’ll call you when I land.” I turn on my heel and start to push the half-tonne trolley away from my best, but annoying friend.
“With pictures!” she calls after me.
“Sure, with pictures.” I turn my back to the trolley, so I’m facing her but pushing the beast up the ramp, away from the cars.
“You go, girl. Take one for the team! Oh wait, no. Take four with the team!” she shouts over the entire departures drop-off area, with the volume of a crowd control foghorn.
Dee Palmer hates talking about herself in the third person so I won’t. My husband had my iPod engraved one Christmas with ‘sing like no-one’s listening’ and I know my family actually wish they weren’t listening because I am, in fact, tone deaf but it doesn’t stop me and this gentle support has enabled me to fulfill a dream. This has been a truly brilliant experience. Amazon Best seller in Erotic Romance category and short listed for Erotic Author Guild Best Breakthrough Author and Best Series for The Choices Trilogy in 2015..it’s been a pretty fantastic first year!

Few people know better than Delta Force soldiers that life is unbearably short and achingly precious. So Cormac Fletcher isn’t waiting one more day to marry the love of his life, Emily.
Fletch has already adopted her daughter, Annie. Now it’s time to officially make Emily his too.
Emily understands just about every woman experiences a few wedding snafus―but they’re usually not of the harrowing, life-or-death variety. Fortunately for her, a guest list full of Delta soldiers and SEALs will make this an event to remember―for both Emily and the uninvited guests trying to ruin her special day.
Marrying Emily is part of Susan Stoker’s Delta Force Heroes series. If you remember, Fletch met Emily when she rented out the apartment over his garage. She was already having a hard time making ends meet and raising daughter Annie. A disgruntled soldier was shaking Emily down for money and making her believe it was at Fletch’s doing. Luckily, Emily wasn’t 100% fooled and Fletch has smart little Annie on the case as well.
Now, Fletch has adopted Annie and he’s about to make Emily his as well. But it wouldn’t be a Delta wedding without some drama at the reception. And you’ll all just have to see how that plays out. It does involve a mighty fine performance.
Despite this being a novella, it was full of the action and romance that Susan Stoker is known for, so you won’t feel cheated here. It’s full of humor, love, and suspense, and if you pay close attention, you might catch a whiff of a new series to come. (And I don’t mean the new Ace Security debuting in March)
Of course, aside from the Delta Force guys, we have heroes from our Badge of Honor series and the Seal of Protection series, including my favorite, Dude. (If you have to ask why he’s my favorite, you haven’t been paying attention. Just sayin.) I can only hope there are more…ahem…commanding guys like Dude in future books.
She debuted her first series in 2014 and quickly followed that up with the SEAL of Protection Series, which solidified her love of writing and creating stories readers can get lost in.

It seems his good-for-nothing father has gotten out of prison and set his sights on his 16 year-old sister. So Drake decides to go home to protect her along with his other sisters. His father and uncle have a plot going on that may have something to do with the drugs filtering through town, and his sister Piper has something to do with it, as well as her teacher.
Drake pulls Karen in for his protection, and finds himself falling for her along the way. But that just gives his father and the gang more ammo to use against him. Nothing like a little help from your friends.
As usual with one of Caitlyn’s books, I couldn’t put this one down. Of course, the title had me hooked from the start. (After all, I am a knotty girl!) And while I wish he’d been a lot more dominant, I loved Drake. He was especially wonderful with his sisters, and his interactions with headstrong sister Evie were a blast to read. And I believe I smell a book coming with Aiden and Evie. I’m skipping some in this series because I’ve only recently started it, but for me it’s actually exciting because I truly love Caitlyn’s books so much!
This book gets 5 Super Sexy SEAL Stars!

A Cry For Help
It only takes one phone call and Navy SEAL Drake Avery is rushing back to Tennessee in the middle of the night. His sisters are in danger and he will do whatever it takes to protect them.
A New Twist
Now is not the time for a relationship, but damned if Drake doesn’t cross paths with a smokin’ hot kindergarten teacher named Karen Eastman. Miss Eastman has Drake thinking naughty thoughts when he needs to have his head in the game. He never thought he’d be hot for teacher.
Demons from the Past
Part of the hell of going home is that you know everyone, and they know you. Just when you think you can trust someone, they can turn on a dime. Old and new enemies are thrilled to discover Drake has a beautiful new weakness: Karen. But messing with the women in his life, is a mistake. You mess with the bull, you get the horns.
“Now, I want you to tell me all about yourself. Starting with how you met my father, what kind of relationship you have with the sheriff, and how you ended up in this car scaring the piss out of my sister’s baby girl.”
“I’m not scaring no baby.”
Drake held onto his gun with his left hand and with his right, he reached over the front seat and wrapped his big hand around the man’s scrawny neck. “You wanna re-think your answer?”
The man wheezed. Both of Fred’s hands came up to try and yank Drake’s iron finger’s away from his throat. It was no use. Finally, he gave up, his eyes bulging.
“Nod if you’re going to answer my questions.”
The man gave the best nod he could under the circumstances. Drake dropped him back into the front seat of his car.
“Prison. I knew your old man from prison. We done time together a couple of years ago.”
“He got ahold of you awfully fast considering he just got out three days ago.”
“Huey. Huey called us. He told us ole Norville was getting sprung. He rounded us up.” Great, it was a family affair. His dad’s cousin Huey was in on things. He’d always hated that fucker.
Drake punched him in the back of the head.
The man let out a loud yell. “Are you trying to kill me?” he asked as he tenderly touched the spot where Drake’s fist had landed.
“That was a love tap. Give me names.”
“I don’t know everybody.”
The guy was a moron, Drake wanted to hit him again just to see if it would jumpstart his brain. “Give me the names you do know,” he gritted out.
“There’s Al, he did time for trying to steal a car. But it was an unmarked police car a block away from a police precinct. He’s none too bright.”
“That must mean he’s dumber ‘n dirt if you’re noticing.” Fred looked confused. “Go on,” Drake prompted.
“Leslie is a man, even though he has a girl’s name. He don’t like it when we try to call him Les. He got beat up a lot in prison. I personally think he liked it. Getting beat up, that is. Then there’s Snake. He’s with the brotherhood.”
Drake thought he knew what he was talking about, but he wanted to be sure.
“You know, the Aryan brotherhood. He’s a Nazi. He says next month he’ll have more guys coming.”
“Why is Huey so hellbent on recruiting guys to help my father?”
“It’s the other way around. Norville tells Huey what to do. Your dad and his cousin used to own this town. Huey’s been trying to keep things together, but Norville says he’s going to own the county with all his contacts.”
“How does the sheriff figure into all of this?”
“Snake told me that he doesn’t want to get his hands too dirty, he just wants kick-backs, so Huey’s been paying him and a judge off.”
Drake swallowed hard to keep the bile down. Just what kind of family tree had he fallen out of? And where the hell was Huey hiding out, because he sure as hell hadn’t been at the homestead last night.
“Where you from, Fred?”
“This your car?” Drake could see the man consider lying. He knocked him on the same spot on the head.
“Ow. That hurts. It’s my aunt’s car.” Drake would bet anything that his aunt didn’t know Fred had it.
“Fred, you’re going to head back to Kentucky tonight. If I see your ass in Tennessee again, I’m going to kill you. Do you hear me?”
“Huey’ll kill me if I leave.” Drake set down his gun on the backseat, leaned over the front seat, grabbed him by the throat and used the thumb of his other hand to dig into the goose-egg on the man’s head. He was gratified by Fred’s scream.
“I’ll go. I’ll go. Please stop.” Drake waited a moment, then he felt tears hit the hand that was holding onto Fred’s throat.
“Give me your gun and I’ll let you loose,” Drake promised.
“I don’t have one.”
Drake dug in harder.
“It’s in the glove box.”
What a dumbshit. He’d had his gun where it wasn’t readily available.
“Open the driver’s side door and get out of the car when I let you loose, Fred. Then go to the hood of the car and assume the position.”
“I’ll do anything. Just stop hurting me.”
More tears hit Drake’s hand. He released Fred and prayed he wouldn’t make a play for the gun in the glovebox. Not that he’d have a problem subduing the asshat. Nope, he just wanted Fred to be conscious and able to drive back to Kentucky in the next ten minutes.
Fred opened the car door and was soon pressed spread-eagled over the hood of the car. Drake leaned over the front seat and pulled Fred’s pistol out of the glovebox. He then got out of the car and frisked Fred and found a switchblade in his boot.
“Pop the trunk of the car,” Drake directed, wanting to see if there were any more weapons.
The smell of body odor assaulted him when the trunk opened.
“My God man, haven’t you heard of deodorant?” Drake demanded. It had been rank in the car as the man sweated, but the pile of dirty laundry made him gag.
“I was going to go to the laundry-mat,” Fred defended himself.
“Just get home to Kentucky and burn your clothes, you can’t save them. If I see you here again, you’re going to be the first one I target. Are we clear?”
“Say the words. Are we clear?”
“Yes. I’m leaving town now. Can I have my gun?” he asked, proving just how stupid he was.
Drake shook his head and pointed to the open car door. “You’ve got one minute for me to see taillights. Otherwise you’ll be wishing Huey was here.”
Fred stood there looking at him.
“One, two, three,” Drake started counting, and Fred scrambled towards the driver’s seat. He hit his knee against the door. Once again, Drake had to listen to him whine. Fred gunned the car trying to get it to go. It was obvious the parking brake was on, but that didn’t stop him from continuing to press on the accelerator. God, he’d be lucky to make it out of Sevier County, let alone back home to Kentucky. Finally, Fred figured out his problem and the car lurched forward, and he did a fast U-turn. It had taken longer than the allotted time, but Drake always gave extra consideration to the chronically stupid.
About the Author:
Caitlyn O’Leary is an avid reader, and considers herself a fan first and an author second. She reads a wide variety of genres, but finds herself going back to happily-ever-afters. Getting a chance to write, after years in corporate America is a dream come true. She hopes that her stories provide the kind of entertainment and escape that she has found from some of her favorite authors.
Her Series Include:
It’s a bit Paranormal, a bit Sci-Fi and 100% Action/Adventure. The characters have special abilities, that make them targets.
This is focused on a group of Navy Seals. What makes them special is their bond to one another, and the women they come to love.
This is the series that started her career, it is a Menage Series that takes place in Fate Harbor Washington. It focuses on a tight knit community who live and love and care for one another.
Cooper Laughlin, a member of the Omega Team, has been tied up in knots by his best friend’s baby sister forever. Even though the girl is now a woman, he still feels she is too young and inexperienced, and needs to be protected from everything and everyone, and that includes him.
Brenna moved across the country to be close to Cooper two years ago, and despite her best efforts, he has kept her squarely in the friend zone.
When a stalker threatens her safety, all of Cooper’s pent-up emotions break free. Is there a way to keep her safe from both the stalker and Cooper’s own need to dominate?
I love Caitlyn O’Leary. As yet again with my knotty self, I was introduced to her books late, Declan from the first book in the new Shadow Alliance series was my first taste, and it was like eating a meal from a Michelin chef. (That’s kinda like Gordon Ramsey, or Bobby Flay good!)
Now, I’ve read this offering, a hybrid of the new Shadow Alliance series by Caitlyn, and The Omega Team from Author Delilah Devlin. (Of course, I went and bought those too!)
In this book, Cooper Laughlin is a member of Omega team. He has a little issue of having a crush on his best friend’s baby sister, and even though she’s 23 years old, he still see her as too young and experienced, especially for his darker desires.
Brenna has been in love with Cooper her whole life it seems, and she even moved her schooling to be closer to him. But after he says the wrong thing to her, she decides to move on. But when a stalker decides to become obsessive and turns from creepy to dangerous, Cooper finally realizes that Brenna may just be what he’s needed all along. Question is, is it too late?
Aside from this being a novella, it’s packed full of the uber-Alpha heroes that Ms. O’Leary is just so talented at writing, and Cooper is hot, sexy, and dominant, just like I like them! Brenna may be inexperienced, but she’s smart, sassy, and takes no prisoners. No-one is taking Brianna for granted! Just loved this Kindle World novella.
This is most definitely a 5 Star Orgasm!
Hanging on by a Thread
Sophia Anderson takes care of everyone but herself. She will stop at nothing to keep her family safe. When she goes searching for her runaway little brother in a bad part of town, she becomes the one in need of rescue.
A White Knight
Navy SEAL, Mason Gault, faced many dangers while in the line of duty. No matter how bad a mission has gone, he finds solace in three things: His family, friends and the waves of the Pacific. When he hears a woman’s screams for help, he charges in to save her without a second thought.
A Dangerous Love
Sophia is burdened with scars from her past. Mason understands that empowering her spirit is just as important as protecting her well-being. As their love and passion soars, so do threats against her. Can Mason continue to be the compassionate white knight that she needs, while ensuring her safety?
What can I say about this book but WOW! I absolutely loved it! I have a thing for female characters that are down on their luck, in trouble, and end up in a situation where they need rescuing, (sometimes because they are hurt) by a hunky, alpha, dominant, hunk. (I said that huh?) Military is always a plus. We have that all in spades here, and Caitlyn O’Leary has made a lifelong fan out of me.
Mason is home after a mission gone bad. Sofia has been watching him surf on the beach, she has a sick mom, and a brother to worry about. Later, she ends up having to look for her brother when he goes missing, but her venturing in the worst part of town gets her into her own trouble.
When the tables are turned on her during her attempt to rescue someone, Mason saves her life. He ends up going to the hospital with her and taking her home the next day and getting to know her, but she thinks he’s to good for her.
Her attackers get out on bail, and they have her name. Can Mason protect her and prove she’s good enough?
Just LOVED it! Mason is one hot SEAL, and the rest of the guys on his team are going to be just as great to read about. This is one series I’m adding to my “MUST READ” pile.
